This Pakistani Prayer design rug is hand-knotted with Wool on Cotton with some silk highlights. Directional rug, depicts the prayer niche in a mosque.

The finely knotted Pakistani Blue Prayer Rug has been worked in a palette of camel, ivory, blue, pink, grey, lavender and navy blue. It features a detailed chandelier with pendant lights hanging suspended from the peak of the pointed arch of the mihrab. There is a vessel holding flowers at the bottom of the mihrab. The area above the mihrab is infilled with eight-pointed stars. The compound border is made of multiple narrow borders worked in the same palette. The rugs is overcast at the selvedges and there is a short skirt and cotton fringe at each end. Unmarked.
