This beautiful Jerusalem Pitcher was manufactured of yellow copper alloy with shiny gilt plating. The base and handles made of cast metal- brass or bronze. The pitcher was created by indigenous craftsman in the early 20th. It is signed “Jerusalem” on the base and on the handle.
This hand-etched and hand-engraved item has traces of primitive manual processing by hand-tools. The pitcher is slightly asymmetrical, like all handcraft items.
There are age-related wear and tear, scratches, scuff and spots. Item has dented upper part, near the opening (please see photos).
