A dallah (Arabic: دلة) is a traditional Arabic coffee pot used for centuries to brew and serve Qahwa (gahwa), an Arabic or Gulf coffee made through a multi-step ritual, and Khaleeji, a spicy, bitter coffee traditionally served during feasts like Eid al-Fitr.
A wonderful brass/copper Copper Turkish Dallah with heavy lid and long thin spout. The piece is in excellent complete condition. A very unique Dallah, with 4 birds positioned on the lid and the spout, a pattern of triangle shaped holes on the lid top and some beautiful rows of hammered or chased pattern oaround the top of the Dallah. There is an unidentifiable mark in the shape of a tear with some Arabic inside it on side.
