Baluch Mosque Prayer Rug
Baluchi carpets are handmade carpets originally made by Baluch nomads, living near the border between Iran and Afghanistan. Each piece utilizes the design skills and showcases the individuality of each weaver. Each rug is hand-woven using beautiful vegetable dyed Baluchi wools. These pieces were woven with utility in mind. The workmanship is of high quality; these carpets are tight and thin and give a real feeling of genuine nomadic handicraft.
This particular Baluch Mosque Prayer Rug is in Excellent Condition, and has a beautiful design encompassing a Mosque with Minarets on the top half with Pillars and a chandelier on the bottom half. It also has a lovely intricate 3 layer border around the perimeter.
